Roy Halladay is a Beast.

“Halladay has his sign…the 0-2 pitch…swing and a ground ball nubber, Ruiz has it, slides, throws to first…HE GOT HIM! HE GOT HIM! ROY HALLADAY HAS THROWN THE FIRST NO HIT, NO RUN GAME IN THE POSTSEASON SINCE DON LARSEN IN 1956!”
That call from Harry Kalas in that Great Broadcast Booth in the sky with Whitey Ashburn beside him ended Roy Halladay’s second no-hitter of the season. It would have been his second perfect game of the year had Jay Bruce not walked in the fifth inning. Other than that, he became the first hurler to have a no hit game in the regular season and the post season.
Oh, by the way, it was also the first no-hitter at Citizens Bank Park. Phils win 4-0, take a 1-0 lead against Cincinnati, Roy Oswalt now has a tough axct to follow on Friday (10/8) kids.
However, comcast.net delivered an EPIC FAIL:
“Phillies ace Roy Halladay pitches the second perfect game in MLB playoff history, first in 54 years.”
Jay Fucking Bruce much?
